This is a hand-painted, hand-carved Oaxacan Pretty Kitty folk art by artists: Jose Olivera Perez, Francisca Melchor Luis & San Martin Tilcajete. This pretty painted kitty piece is vibrant fuchsia pink, with blues, browns, yellows & lavender with beautiful details! The piece is signed on the bottom.

Materials & Measurements:

• Copal Wood: The wood comes from the Copal Tree (Bursera glabrifolia). Fresh-cut copal wood is soft and easily workable; it has a small heart so it does not split. It sands to a smooth porcelain-like finish and it doesn't absorb much paint.
• Acrylic Paints
• The Kitty is approximately 4 1/2" high by 2.5" wide by 2" deep
• The owl weighs approximately 80 grams
