This is a hand-painted, hand-carved Oaxacan Owl folk art. The artist has used bold bright colors with intricate details to make this flying owl a true keepsake. The piece is signed on the bottom by the artist.
Materials & Measurements:
- Copal Wood: The wood comes from the Copal Tree (Bursera glabrifolia). Fresh-cut copal wood is soft and easily workable; it has a small heart so it does not split. It sands to a smooth porcelain-like finish and it doesn't absorb much paint.

- The owl is approximately 9" high by 2.5" wide by 3.75" deep
