This Small Blue Horsehair Pottery by Roger Calhoun brings the distinctive markings of horsehair firing to a smaller, gently rounded vessel. The scattered black lines vary from delicate wisps to darker, wandering trails, each formed by the way the horsehair reacts to the heated clay. The bright turquoise-blue crackled finish gives the upper portion a lively contrast to the earthy surface below, making the most of the pottery's compact shape.

THIS POTTERY IS DECORATIVE ONLY, NOT FOR PLANTING.
