These Multistone Circle Earrings by A. Medina take a different approach to mosaic work, dividing each round earring into larger blocks of stone and shell rather than many small fragments. A dark horizontal band crosses the center and gives the composition a strong visual anchor, with perpendicular sections above and below forming an almost architectural arrangement. Slight differences between the two mosaics preserve the handmade character of the matching pair.
