This Navajo ring by P. uses a long oval face to give the stepped shadowbox design room to develop around a small manmade opal center. The dark recessed geometry makes the opal appear almost suspended within the silver, while short stamped marks around the perimeter soften the otherwise angular composition. A split shank supports the elongated face without adding more visual weight to the center.
