A large Royston turquoise stone fills the face of this ring, with broad brown matrix running across the turquoise in irregular patches. The setting follows the stone closely with a segmented border, while deeply fluted silverwork fans outward along the sides of the band. That radiating construction gives the substantial stone plenty of support without surrounding it with unnecessary ornament.
