This Navajo Multistone Mosaic Shadowbox Ring by A.Y. builds its design from small sections of turquoise and other colorful stones and shell, fitted together with thin silver lines running between them. Rather than centering everything symmetrically, the inlay shifts direction from one section to the next, almost giving the face the look of a tiny abstract landscape. A deep shadowbox border sets the mosaic apart from the polished rectangular frame and gives the relatively small inlay a surprising amount of presence. This would be a fun piece for a collector drawn to mosaic inlay and jewelry that feels a little more contemporary while still rooted in traditional materials.
