Ana Trillo

 

 

       Ana Trillo was born and raised in El Rucio, a small community just outside of Mata Ortiz. At the age of 15 she decided to move to Mata Ortiz, where she began her own family and learned the art of pottery making. Since, she's had the wonderful opportunity to show and demonstrate pottery making throughout the U.S.. Today, she continues to live in Mata Ortiz where she continues pottery and painting. She owns a gallery and studio near her home. She continues to study English so she can better teach, share her story, and her love of art. Ana had four sons, who have also all been trained as potters.
